Meet Denny, a Service Delivery Technician with Calyx. Denny works closely with our clients to help resolve any day-to-day issues they encounter, to deploy new systems and ensure that they have everything needed to be productive and efficient.

What value do you bring to our clients?

I think the value I bring to our clients is mainly in consistency, and commitment. I consistently strive to make extra efforts to reach out to my colleagues for knowledge that will help me become an asset to the team, as well as make the experiences of our clients better, easier, and happier. I am committed to expanding my expertise anywhere I can, for the betterment of our clients’ experiences, and to continue to learn new skills that I can use to help our support team continue to deliver amazing service.

What/who inspires you?

I am very inspired by teamwork. I love seeing a group of people overcome obstacles together and work towards a common goal. It’s inspiring to me to see humans helping humans. In fact, I really love the dynamic here at Calyx in the Service Delivery Department. Everyone seems to work together very well, and in the face of a challenge help is never more than a click away. It inspires me when I am having trouble with something and one of my colleagues is extremely willing to help, I feel like part of a winning team. 

What do you like to do in your free time?

I spend a good portion of my free time working on projects like restoring old furniture or wrenching on various things in the garage, I really enjoy working with my hands because it’s a family tradition. The rest of my time is dedicated to my physical fitness or spending time outdoors, I love activities like kayaking, camping, running, or weight lifting. I like to challenge myself and I think physical fitness is essential, I think I am the happiest after spending a long day outside in the sun.
