What value do you bring to our clients?
As a Business Development Manager and with my previous sales experience, I feel like I contribute great value to Calyx and its clients. I am a great listener and learner. I make it a point to truly listen to my colleagues, my team, leadership, prospects, and clients. I believe being an active listener is key to being a great communicator. Therefore, I listen more than I talk, so I can truly capture the topic, pain, or concern of those I converse with. In addition, I love to learn and am always working towards increasing my knowledge. This way I can help those around me in many topics.
What/who inspires you?
My daughter and my fiancée. They are the light of my world. I want to produce the best life possible for both of them. My fiancée truly inspires me with her drive and determination, she was doing a lot as of recent. Going to school full time to finish her bachelor’s degree, while also working not one, but two part-time positions in her field at times. All that while also balancing being a new mother and helping care for our baby. All I have to do is work 8 hours a day- truly inspirational.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I like to fish, workout, or go outdoors. I love going for a walk with my family or go an early morning outdoor run. They also join me in my fishing trips from time to time, last year my baby girl caught her first fish while camping- a yellow perch! Of course, being 10 months old at the time, mom helped her reel it in!
