Meet Walt Ely, who recently transitioned into a new role as our Chief Client Officer. Walt is a hardworking leader, responsible for ensuring that the promises made to the client are delivered. With over 30 years of IT experience, he delivers a calm attitude and empathy to the customers to ensure productivity is at its best.

Who inspires you?
I am inspired by a close friend of mine who was nearly killed in a motorcycle accident. With only a 2% chance of living, he pulled through. Although he has some physical limitations, he never complains of the constant pain or his circumstances. When I think things are not going well in my life, he inspires me to be thankful for what I have and appreciate my blessings. It helps to keep things in perspective.
How do you spend your free time?
I like to spend my free time working out and coaching CrossFit classes. In addition to this I enjoy fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, and any activity that gets me outdoors.
What do you love most about Calyx?
I truly enjoy working with the people at Calyx and helping our customers achieve their business goals. As a previous business owner, I know the stresses and hurdles that business owners face each day and I feel that helps me relate to them and share my experiences to help them.
